WWE World Championship match set for Friday Night SmackDown FOX debut

WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown debut on October 4th just got a lot more interesting, to say the least.

In a surprise move tonight in Atlanta, Brock Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, revealed that his client is back and ready to challenge WWE Champion Kofi Kingston for his title two weeks for this coming Friday on FOX. Soon after Kofi accepted said challenged, he was greeted with an F5 for his troubles.

A 7-time World Champion in Brock Lesnar challenging the red-hot Kingston is exactly what WWE needed in terms of a must-see main event for their big open on FOX coming October 4th. Will we get a clean finish? Or could this set up an extended program that could include a singles match between Lesnar and Big E that yours truly continues to clamor for?
