Jon Moxley is coming to New Japan next week

In his first month since leaving WWE, we’ve seen Jon Moxley do the following:

– Break out of prison.

– DDT Chris Jericho at Double or Nothing.

– Handing another DDT out to the referee for good measure.

– Close out All Elite Wrestling’s inaugural PPV after killing Kenny Omega in a goosebump inducing meeting between two professional wrestlers who are at the very top of the game right now.

– Using social media more than he had during his entire WWE run.

– Flip off the world alongside Cody Rhodes.

– Take a drag from Joey Janela’s cigarette.

This isn’t “hokey sh*t” Dean Ambrose, this is the return of the deathmatch workhorse who lit the indies on fire before his incredibly successful run at the top of the industry. Paradigm shift indeed, and this is just a taste.

Earlier this afternoon, it was finally revealed that none other than Jon Moxley had been the man behind the “Time’s Up” videos airing on New Japan programming recently, targeting IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson. We’ve now learned that Moxley will make his New Japan debut against Robinson at the Best of Super Juniors 2019 Finale on June 5th at Ryogoku Sumo Hall.

The card will also feature a special singles match between ‘Switchblade’ Jay White and Hiroshi Tanahashi along with the Best of Super Juniors final between both Block winners.
